About Aswadi

Aswadi leads the analytics department at ASNB, overseeing its data science and machine-learning work and the team that builds it. Aswadi started as a packet core network engineer at Huawei and Celcom, then moved into data at Axiata, building analytics and machine-learning products for operators in Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Cambodia. At CIMB, Aswadi led cost management, AML and fraud projects. At TIME dotCom, Aswadi built a data science stack from scratch and trained its analysts. For four years Aswadi also taught data science part time to working adults at UBARU Asia. Aswadi holds a master’s in Data Science from Universiti Malaya and a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
