Syahmi helps founders and growing businesses use software and AI in practical ways, from deciding what to build to training the teams who use it.

About Syahmi

Syahmi started coding at 13 and sold his first software soon after. He studied Economics and Politics at the University of Manchester and worked in public policy before returning to building.

Through his company RAFSANS he has built and advised on systems for e-commerce, payments, logistics, scheduling and internal operations. He now focuses on AI agents and automation, works with founders as a fractional CTO, trains product and engineering teams, and founded Queuelah, a QR queue system for small businesses.

I hate wasted human potential.

Syahmi, on syahmi.fyi (opens in a new tab). He also describes upward mobility as “going from needing help to being able to help.”

Practices Syahmi recommends

Each area below is matched to practices already in Leetsoul. Three practices are free; the rest are part of Soulful. Interview-based material from practitioners is still to come.

Consulting and client discovery

Find out what a client is really dealing with before you suggest a fix.

Pricing, quotes and negotiation

Talk about money and extra work without starting an argument.

Saying no and setting scope

Say what fits, what has to move and what you will not take on.

Explaining AI and technical trade-offs to non-technical people

Describe a limit or an unknown plainly enough that someone can decide. These practices are about the explaining, not about AI itself.

Training and teaching adults

Work out what is stopping a learner, then give feedback they can use.

Founder and early-customer conversations

Ask strangers for their time and their honest view, without pushing.
